Kit fast, die warm.
When I don’t write, I either knit, crochet or felt. I love wool for it’s diverse qualities and the many colorful varieties avaliable. I treasure my knitting needles, crochet hooks and dry felting tools. With them I make sculptures, socks, wall hangings, sweaters, dresses, hats, glowes, bags and pillows.
Working with wool can be a relaxing pleasure, and the finished piece is just a part of the reward. When people exclaim “you must be so patient! I could never get trough such a long scarf…” Yes, you could, if you stop worrying about finishing the entire piece and just start. At the beginning. The rest will work itself out.
Stitch by stitch. Threads for peace.
